Howto upgrade to new version of MindRaider:
  • Note that important data (your profile and data repository) is not stored within the MindRaider installation. Profile is typically stored in $HOME/.mindraider.profile/$USERNAME.rdf.xml, and repository in the directory according to your choice, that is specified during the installation.
  • You may backup your repository (by default stored in the $HOME/MindRaider) before upgrade.
Fresh version of MindRaider should be installed as follows:
  • Windows:
    • Uninstall MindRaider from Start menu.
    • Install new version.
  • Linux:
    • Extract distribution archive somewhere.
    • Run MindRaider... and data should be upgraded (if needed) automatically.
    • If everything is OK, delete previous MindRaider version.
I encourage you to upgrade MindRaider regularly in order to enjoy new features ;-)
